First of all I must congratulate the people who started this forum. It is quite a good latform for people to discuss and debate about various issues concerning the environment and ways to tackle them. A friend "Pallavi Walia" told me about this forum and strongly recommended it. So here I am.

Regarding my initiative, I had this idea of working for the betterment of the environent. Got a few friends invloved, had to run around a bit finding interested people, it was 2-3 months before I could begin the procedure for forming a society. I have completed the file and sent it to the Registrar of societies in Delhi. It should be an approved NGO by the end of this week. I deposited the file on wednesday and it takes around 10 days. We are currenttly seven people in it and am counting on support from the members of this forum.

The NGO has been named New Bloom, the site is under construction (www.NewBloom.org).

That is the initiative I have taken.
