I have started a network of students working on social and environmental causes by the name of - 'Youth For A Cause'.

We are all planning to conduct an event called 'Youth Summit 2009' which is a one-day long festival being organised by the members of 'Youth For A Cause'. Planned just before the Copenhagen summit, the objective of the event is to showcase the climate solutions available to us, and how economically as well as ecologically viable they are to our needs, entailing the societal aspects of the various problems we may have to face in the near future.

Through this we aim to sensitize people, youth of today in specific, regarding the urgency to act against climate change and other relevant issues in today's world and encourage them to adapt a sustainable model of development. Keeping in tune with the United Nation's Millennium Development Goals we have incorporated most of the aspects of environmental sustainability in this carnival, taking along the social aspect of all the goals stated in it.
